Things can change fast

The upstairs bathroom has looked a dreadful mess since it was cleared out. The key picture is from Saturday and the right one from this morning.

And this is what it looked like just a few weeks ago. By reorganising the layout we’ve got 10% more floor space and that’s not including a much smaller shower unit.
PS. This is why tilting windows are not a good idea for bathrooms. Water collects in the coldest spot and, unless you open the window fully often to clean, mould will grow. But if the window sill is full - and don’t we all tend cover it with all kinds of stuff? - you won’t be able to open the window properly.

This is why Astrid’s idea of a split window here, and in the kitchen, is such a good one: you get to cover the window sill in whatever junk you like and can still ventilate properly!
