The view from the sofa

It’s been a long day, but it was my plan to be able to move enough stuff to house today to be able to cook, sleep and chill.

And, thanks to Binë, we got more stuff packed than we hoped. She had been planning to come with her wife, Uli. But, unfortunately, she’s had a migraine all day. Get well soon, Uli and thanks for lending us Binë anyway!

And I’d arranged with Ivan that he’d help us move stuff in his van. Initially, I just wanted to move our bed and stuff for the kitchen but then I got ambitious and we’ve moved the guest bed, my sofa and the telly as well.

Bine didn’t have time to put up the curtain rail so we’ll have to improvise but otherwise we’re looking forward to our first evening and night in our new home!

But we’ve still got a lot of packing to do, so if you’ve got nothing better to do tomorrow, you’re more than welcome!
