Spot the wall sockets

I came to the house this morning for some therapeutic plaster watching. The walls in the attic were plastered on Saturday but the guys forgot to mark where the wall sockets were, which would mean the electrician having to find them before he can get on with his work.

Fortunately, I managed to explain the situation, not so easy as our main builder has a back injury - I’m hoping it’s only lumbago and not the spine, because he is at least able to walk - and they’ve exposed the sockets. I have photos of nearly everything, but only nearly as I didn’t expect them to be doing this work over the weekend.

I also called the electrician to let him know and ask when we’re likely to have power in the rest of the house - at the moment we only have it in the cellar. That depends on when the plastering is done. And, as the joiners are in from next week, the first floor and attic will be out of commission while they’re working.

This is when the time we lost initially and when our first builder let us down is really going to show as we have to try an coordinate the flooring, the plastering, the plumbing, the heating, the tiling, the electrics, the windows, the kitchen and moving house.

Hopefully, while the flooring is being done upstairs we can finish off downstairs and then start swapping workers around.
