Please Mind the Gap!

Obviously, with the layering of floor coverings the doors had to be trimmed. We’ll be doing the same with ground floor, but that’s based on the carpenter’s advice, who reckons removing the titles would be a lot of unnecessary work. But upstairs, it doesn’t really make sense to put laminate on carpet if you want a wood floor. It’s not even as if the floors are particularly loud when you walk on them.

Oh well, our turn to make mistakes!
