Operation Werkstatt

Over the weekend we seem to have turned a corner: we’re no longer ripping stuff up and throwing it out, holes are being filled, new stuff is being fitted. We can even start thinking about making plans.

One thing that both of us want is some kind of workroom where we can do the odd bit of handiwork because there won’t be any space in the kitchen, or the dining room, or the living room or anywhere else for that matter. At least until Astrid gets a shed she can banish me to!

One of the rooms in the cellar is big enough for this as well as storage for bikes, garden equipment and furniture, provisions, etc. And, there is already a little workroom in the Waldlehne just waiting to be transplanted. Maybe at the weekend. If we can find any volunteers.
