Making Do (2)

It’s sort of weird to think we’ve been showering here for more than a week. And, while, we’ve got just to spraying and splashing as little as possible, it would be nice to just let the water wash over you.

As we’re unlikely to have a proper shower cubicle for at least a couple of weeks, it’s time to improvise. Because we don’t want to drill into those lovely tiles until we really have to,I decided to try and have the shower curtain from the ceiling. This is fine, with the two crucial limitations and my own usual stupidity. While you can mount the rail fine with just two points, you can’t hang out with just two. But if you hang it in the three corners, you can’t open and close it properly. I think this is less of a problem because you can still get in and out okay. More of a problem was not buying enough cord, so it’s hanging a bit too high above the ground. The water should generally just drop in the floor, meaning a lot less sprayed around but it does look awful!
