Houston, we have a kitchen!

I have a sneaking feeling that readers have been waiting for this moment more than we have… In any case, it arrived on time and was fitted today. And we even got to test it, and it’s as good as I hoped for. Yes all mod cons, but also very practical. There is more room in the U than I hoped for.

The eagle-eyed may have noticed the missing tap. The idea was, and still is, to use the extendible tap from my old kitchen. But, due to some zealous tidying in the cellar and fatigue when taking out the trash, we lost a bit. Hopefully, we’ll be able to fix this. Otherwise, we’ll have to find a replacement.

We’re still going to have paint above and next to the cupboards. And, of course, until we have the tiles it’s going to look a bit weird. But, at least it’s there!
