Meine Eltern, die nach dem Tod meines Opas in das Haus am Sengelsweg eingezogen sind, hatten sich eine Kellerbar eingerichtet. Die Bar ist immer noch vorhanden. Dort wurde auch der Polterabend gefeiert. Meine Eltern haben 1963 geheiratet. Auf der alten Türe zum Luftschutzkeller fand ich einige Artikel und Partyeinladungen.

Diese alten Tapeten haben mich schon als Kind begleitet. Ich meine, mich an manche erinnern zu können, obwohl ich erst vier war, als wir aus dem Sengelsweg ausgezogen sind.
Ich bin nicht erwähnenswert…
Wenn auch nur ein kleines bisschen, so hab ich doch auch Tapete von den Wänden gekratzt gestern. Ich gebe zu, etwas angeschlagen von meiner Firmenfeier am Freitag war mein Beitrag nicht erheblich, aber doch vorhanden. Wir sind mit der Tapete im Schlafzimmer fast fertig. So hab ich mir auch meinen

On my own again
No workmen came today and we’re sort of working against the clock. So it was my turn to do some wallpaper stripping. I’ve got all the way round the room, but this woodchip is a lot easier than yesterday. Though it could also be the bicarbonate of soda
Extreme Makeover - the bathroom
While the toilet for midgets is still there, everything is gone and the shower the only source of water in the house. I don’t think the shower was used very much, not really surprising considering the room isn’t heated. If things go well, it’ll be a significant

Keeping the cold out
This is the door into the garden, and on the right into the cellar. Before things like double glazing it was important to keep the cold out so, in the winter at least, a heavy curtain would have hung here so that the doors could be opened and closed with
